A win for African All Stars
Tsakane – Tsakane’s African All Stars thrashed JDR Stars 1-0 in the ABC Motsepe League game played at the Tsakane Stadium last Wednesday night.
With African All Stars sitting third on the log and JDR Stars taking up the number two spot, the game was intense from the beginning as African All Stars made it clear they wanted a win that would move them up on the log.
The ball position was dominated by the African All Stars, making it difficult for JDR Stars to get goal opportunities and the first half ended with no goals scored.
Going into the second half, African All Stars brought all their soccer skills to the field but JDR’s defence was strong making it hard for them to net a goal.
After many attempts and shots on target, African All Stars’ Sechaba Muso managed to score a goal past the JDR Stars’goalkeeper, putting his team in the lead.
JDR Stars were under pressure to equalise to keep their position on the log but the African All Stars goalkeeper was alert and did not allow any goals to go past him.
The match ended with a 1-0 win to the African All Stars.
