Kwatsaduza - Ayoba Consulting Projects in partnership with Ace Auto Scrapyard and a KwaThema supermarket will be hosting a two-day goalkeeper coaching clinic on December 14 and 15.
The workshop aims to empower local, regional and provincial coaches with specialised modern goalkeeping training and coaching to improve the quality and standard of goalkeepers at grass root levels.
The programme also seeks to train Ekurhuleni based goalkeepers every Monday (the date of the first training session will be confirmed during the workshop).
All aspiring goalkeeper trainers must register on or before December 4, as the workshop only caters for 40 people.
Active goalkeepers will also have to register and book to be a part of the programme.
Day one of the workshop will be held at Kenneth Masikela Secondary School in Malaza Street, KwaThema, and will focus on the background of goalkeeping and physical, psychological and technical training.
Day two will be held at the Kwathema Stadium and will focus on practical training and coaching.
