KwaThema lose to Etwatwa

KwaThema - Last Saturday the KwaThema Cricket Club’s u/10 boys team lost by 11 runs to Etwatwa Cricket Club in the Gauteng Eastern Cricket League match played at the KwaThema Sports Complex.

KwaThema won the toss and elected to bowl first.

The determined Etwatwa cricketers were bowled out for 154 runs whilst KwaThema managed to put up a hearty 143 runs before being bowled out.

Akani Chauke from Etwatwa was the man of the match for his 59 runs not out innings.

Etwatwa team coach, Edward Mogoto, says he is happy that his team is showing so much progress and determination.

“Our main aim is to develop these future cricketers and it gives us joy as coaches to see our teams doing well and getting better after each game they play,” explains Mogoto.
