Junior players join the senior ranks at Ace Auto Ayoba
KwaThema – Ace Auto Ayoba signed five new members to its senior team at the start of the new season.
The team plays in the SAB League.
The new members are Thuto Mmuso (19), Andrese Mabitsela (22), Thulani Zoto (21), Themba Mahlaba (20) and Dumisani Msiza (19).
Some of the players stem from other local teams, while some were selected from a talent search by the academy.
Mmuso says he moved from his former team because he felt it was time to ‘grow’ and likes the style and seriousness of this team.
Zoto also likes the style of of his new team.
“We are working towards winning the league and play-offs, so we can take the team to the next level,” says Mabitsela.
In addition to the new players, the team also welcomed six players who were promoted from the junior ranks.
These players are Bafana Tshabalala (16), Kagiso Selesho (19), Ntokozo Mgidi (17), Wandile Mashinin (17), Odwa Siboko (18) and Achievious Legodi (16).
