At the start of the game both teams seemed confident and well composed, but, 10 minutes into the first half, the Ayoba boys tore down the Lusitano FC defence, leaving Kgomolemo Nyaku (9) to score the opening goal.
Lusitano FC soon tried to come back with a stronger performance and started defending, but Ayoba proved to be more powerful as their attacks intensified.
Within 15 minutes into the game, Thando Magagula (9) scored the second goal, giving his team the lead.
By half time the score remained at 2-0.
When the second half commenced, Ayoba remained the more dominant side and fought for additional goals. This showed, as Nyaku scored his second goal of the match within the first five minutes of the second half.
The fourth goal, which came around 10 minutes into the second half, was put into the net by Tumelo Mjekula (9).
A minute before the end of the match, Karabo Mahlangu (10), of Ayoba, also put his name on the score sheet, notching up the fifth goal for his team.
