The event will be open to u/11, u/13, u/15 and u/17 soccer teams, senior soccer teams, women’s soccer teams and netball teams.
According to the tournament coordinator, Votile Jack, the competition will celebrate Heritage Month.
“We want to celebrate our heritage through sport, while also encouraging sport in the townships,” he says.
There will be prizes to be won by the champions and the teams which take the second positions in each category.
Interested teams must register before September 6, as the draws, fixtures and rules will be decided at 2pm on September 12, at the Faranani Multi Purpose Centre, in Tsakane.
The tournament will start on September 19, at the Tsakane Stadium.
