M.O.M Seboni comes third in tournament

Duduza - The M.O.M Seboni soccer team participated in the Kay Motsepe Provincial Tournament last Monday, at the Nike Football Training Centre in Soweto.

The team, which made it to the provincials by for the second time, came third and took home bronze medals after losing to Pretoria’s Clapham High School in the semi-finals.

Coach Abraham Bambisa (26), says he is very happy with his team’s performance at the tournament. He said the competition was tight and involved some of the best teams from around Gauteng.

“My boys did their best and I’m happy that they represented Ekurhuleni and Kwatsaduza at the tournament,” says Bambisa.

The team expressed their gratitude to their coach, assistant coach Mandla Mathobela (26) and team mentor Bongani ‘Chester’ Khumalo (33).
