Teams invited to join the SLFA
Kwatsaduza - With the 2015/2016 Springs Local Football Association (SLFA) league approaching, teams have already started to prepare for the next season.
To ensure that sport lives on in the townships, the association invites all interested teams to join the association.
According to Ace Mashalaba, the league’s secretary, the association’s aim is to produce the best players who will in the future not only represent Kwatsaduza, but will play for the benefit of the country.
“Most of the well known sports players and legends started their careers playing on the streets in the townships,” says Mashabala.
He appeals to parents to encourage their children to take part in sport.
Mashalaba says that the application deadline to join the association is August 22.
