Club recognises soccer talent

Tsakane - The runners-up of the u/19 Springs Local Football Association (SLFA) Super League, Young Peace Brothers, have secured potential sponsorship from Nedbank.

The team from Langaville will receive soccer balls, water bottles and a new kit from Nedbank if they secure the top three position in the first five games of the premier log this coming season.

The bank has already donated T-shirts to the soccer club in recognition of their achievements.

Team coach Lucky Magane says he is excited for the coming season and believes his players have what it takes to win the premier league.

“We are ready to show the other teams we mean business,” he says.

The club recently acknowledged several players by presenting them with certificates for their achievements.

Certificates were awarded to Neo Magane ( Midfielder of the Season), Dennis Lejwadi (Most Improved Player), Ndumiso Mathebula (Disciplined Player of the Season), Freedom Masango (Defender of the Season) and Lungile Mdlalose (Player of the Season).

Assistant coach Mokgwatsewe Ramotsitsi explained the importance of the club awarding the players.

“Players need motivation so they know their efforts are being noticed by us as coaches and the club,” says Ramotsitsi.

The Young Peace Brothers are hard in training, preparing for start of the season in September.
