Street soccer is back

KwaThema - Local teams are invited to take part in the Simunye five-a-side street soccer games.

Following a long break, Sibusiso Zwane, the founder of Simunye, says the action packed games are expected to be back on the street soon.

The one day soccer challenge will be played in KwaThema.

Zwane says players who are interested in playing must be 20 years or older.

He says the aim of the street soccer is to keep young people busy and healthy.

“It is true that the most popular sport in the township is soccer,” says Zwane.

He invites all interested teams to contact Sibusiso Zwane on 078 221 6332, or Dumisane Khumalo on 078 207 1942 before June 26.
