Mighty Falcons swoop on opponents
KwaThema - The Mighty Falcons trounced the Young Peace Brothers in a 5-2 win at the KwaThema Sports Complex on Saturday.
It was evident from the beginning of the match that the Mighty Falcons wanted to win.
Their first goal was scored by Tholokuhle Vilakazi (18) 15 minutes into the first half, and the standard was set.
Sibusiso Mbatsana (20) followed with a marvellous goal to round up the first half.
The Young Peace Brothers were not given any opportunities to score.
The first half ended with a 2-0 lead to the Mighty Falcons.
In the second half, the Young Peace Brothers came onto the field aggressively, wanting to equalise and lead.
The Mighty Falcons, however, proved difficult to defeat.
With three more goals scored during the second half, it was difficult for the Young Peace Brothers to equalise and they only managed to score twice.
The goals were scored by Musawenkosi Masango (18) and Banele Mahlangu (16).
