Izinyoka defeated

The Vodacom League match was played at Duduza Stadium last Sunday when Duduza's Izinyoka took on Pretoria's Munsieville.

The stadium was packed with Izinyoka supporters ready to see their team win.

With the game being played on home ground, and with so many supporters in attendance, Izinyoka were pressured to win the game.

The first half was a thrilling clash of the sides, with both showing determination and readiness for the match.

The first half ended in a goalless draw.

In the second half, the game plan changed, as both teams adopted a new strategy to conquer.

Izinyoka let their guard down and gave Rethabile Soso (21) of Munsieville an opportunity to score.

Supporters of the home team showed disappointment over the visitor’s lead.

Munsieville wanted another goal eagerly, and succeeded, but the goal was ruled out because the player was offside.

With only one goal scored, the match ended in a 1 – 0 win to Munsieville.

Izinyoka coach Mhleli Xaba says his team tried their best and he was pleased with their performance.

Player Tshepo Mzima (20) agreed that the team played well and says they really wanted to win the match.

“There was just too much pressure from the supporters and the coach,” he says.
