City Royals wins Tsamaya League

The City Royals won the Tsamaya League on Sunday.

The team took the championship title for the second time on Sunday at the awards ceremony held at the Tlakula Ground.

Team players united in the spirit of victory and danced as they received a floating trophy.

Verbal Warning took the second place, World XI managed to take a third place while Tsakane Civil Servants got the fourth position.

Before the team could celebrate its last season’s victory, it played a friendly game with Tsakane Civic Servants.

On the pitch the players played the best football.

One could not tell that the game was not official, however some of the players showed fatigue after the first half of the game.

The first half ended with no goals made.

The first goal of the game happened during the second half and was put behind the net by Tsakane Civic Servants’ Lovers Mkabane.

It was not long after Tsakane’s goal when City Royals’ Michael Manzini scored an equalising goal.

The game ended with an overall score of 1-1.
