The heavy storm that hit many parts of Kwatsaduza on Saturday destroyed the fence on the other side of the Duduza Stadium.
The stadium was officially opened towards the end of last year.
Duduza resident Thabang Masilo said he is worried about vandalism that might take place in the stadium now that the fence is broken down.
“The stadium is not very damaged, however the criminals might use the destroyed fence to gain access into the stadium and do more damage,” said Masilo.
He then appealed to the metro to ensure that the stadium gets fixed to prevent damage that may be caused by vandals.
No comment was received from the metro.
