New kit for Kwatsaduza athletes

A mother to one of the club's members, donated the kit.

The Kwatsaduza Athletics Club received a new running kit.

After 12 of the club’s members qualified to take part in the SA championships to be held in Cape Town on September 13, the club received a set of 25 running kits.

Lucia Sithole, a mother to one of the club’s members, donated the kit to the club.

“When growing up, I also loved running and thought that I will make a career out of it, however, my situation forced me to quit the sport that I loved so much,” said Sithole.

She said she saw the need to invest towards the making of the young stars’ future.

Adding that despite the good record of the club’s members in winning many competitions, the supporters experienced difficulties identifying the runners when in the field because they did not have a kit.

Club’s chairman, Sparks Moagi thanked Sithole for the donation of the new kit.

He said the new kit will give the runners confidence to do well in the SA Champs.

“Wearing a new kit gives more confidence and encouragement to the runners to perform at their best,” believes Moagi.

He then promised the Kwatsaduza residents that the club will come back from the championships with victory.
