Verbal warning beats WorldXI

The Tsamaya knock-out game between the Verbal Warning and the WorldX was a derby between the two Tsakane teams.

The game was played on Sunday at Tlakula Ground with many supporters came out to give support to their teams that were fighting for a place to play in the semi finals.

The first goal of the game was scored by Verbal warning’s, Mzobo Nkosi.

The one thing that the WorldXI players and the supporters did not think was that Mzobo’s gaol was the first of many more goals that his team was still going to put behind the net.

An equalising goal was scored by Joseph Mokoena of the WorldXI, a goal that brought back hope that the team might be able to go through to the semi final stage of the tournament.

The referee, Lucky Moagi blew the whistle to end the first half of the game with each team registered a goal under its name.

O the second half of the game, the Verbal Warning’s players showed eager to win the game.

Just after few minutes in the second half Verbal warning’s Jabulani Ndela scored a second goal for his team, extending the lead.

Jabulani attacked again and scored a third goal for his team, making it difficult for the opponent to equalise.

The referee blew the whistle to end the game and it was obvious that the Verbal warning was going through to the semi final stage of the tournament.
