Four-day soccer tournament
The soccer teams in and around Ekurhuleni are invited to take part in the four-day tournament.
Ayoba-Yo-Youth Soccer Academy, in partnership with Ace Auto Scrapyard, will host the soccer tournament.
Ayoba’s technical director, Innocent Mayoyo says the junior and senior teams are expected to take part in the four-day tournament.
He says the final games of the tournament are expected to be played on August 17 and for the junior teams the tournament will start on August 9.
“All the senior teams’ draw will be held on August 9 at the KwaThema Extension Two Legacy Ground,” says Mayoyo.
He says the champions will go home with a cash prize of R4 000 while the team that gets the second position will be given a R2 000 cash prize.
The affiliation fee for all the senior teams is R600 while the junior teams will not pay the fee, however, a R20 registration is needed for the junior teams’ meals.
All the games for the tournament will be played at KwaThema’s Legacy Ground.
