Sports development in their community was the focus for Duduza Sports Council on Monday.
Together with Duduza business chamber, the religious sector and soul buddies from Thakgalang Primary School, the council marched around Duduza.
The aim was to identify sports facilities available in the community.
Oupa Kekana from the sports council said there was still a great need for sporting facilities, especially with indoor sporting codes.
Teams such as badminton, softball, netball, chess, athletics and a poet.
The journey started from Lamia ground, close to the Customer Care Centre and ended at Duduza Multipurpose Centre.
Oupa added that sport is used as one of the preventative measures in the fight against substance abuse and other disruptive behaviours.
