Tsakane Civil beats Masimini FC
The Tsamaya League game between Tsakane Civil Servants and Masimini FC was one of the toughest games played during this season
The game was played at Malandela Ground in Tsakane on Sunday.
Before the game started, many supporters of the Tsamaya teams predicted that the game was going to be a walk in the park for Tsakane, however Masimini showed their best side during the game.
It was clear that Masimini players wanted to change the supporters’ perception about their team and applied their soccer skills in the field.
The game was tough from the first minute with Tsakane attacking but Masimini’s goalie was always awake to save the goals.
The first half ended with neither team registering a goal to its name. During the second half, Tsakane struggled many times to get through the Masimini’s defence wall that consisted of the strongest defenders.
Just when everyone was convinced that the game was going to end with a draw, Tsakane’s Pervical Thethe managed to put the ball behind the net resulting in his team winning the game by 1-0.
