Spinners win against East Rand

Junior Spinners defeated the East Rand in the SLFA U/11 Soccer League at KwaThema Sports Complex on Saturday.

The Spinners showed no mercy to their opponents. They attacked and defended from the first minute of the game while the East Rand’s defence was too slow to stop Spinners’ quick attacks.

The Spinners’ fist goal was put behind the net by Siphesihle Nkosi. Siphesihle’s goal gave more strength to the Spinners’ players that made them to attack even more, looking for a second goal.

East Rand’ chase was still not fast enough to stop Lethabo Madihlaba from increasing the goal lead.

Bonginkosi Ngwenya (East Rand) did not waste a chance that he got to try to bring his team back into the game.. The referee blew the whistle to end the game and the Spinners won by 2-1.
