“I am now a soloist and also sing in the church worship team.

“Last year during the Easter weekend, I got a second place in a provincial competition held in Ratanda.

“I believe I came second because I was not well-dressed, otherwise I would have come out tops,” said Pheko.

Pheko said she’s getting ready to audition for the DSTV Idols SA competition and believes she will win the competition.

“I texted the season 18 winner, Thapelo, and he gave me tips and said I have the potential to win the competition,” concluded Pheko.
