Men nabbed for possession of a hijacked car
Four men arrested after victim spots his hijacked car in the streets never Far East Rand Hospital.
Tsakani – Four men, aged 22, 27, 30 and 50, were arrested for possession of a hijacked car last Wednesday.
During the police interrogation, one of the suspects indicated that the firearm that was used during the commission of the crime was kept in the area.
Tsakani police spokesperson Sergeant Lerato Mngomezulu explained that the suspect took the police to the house where the firearm was kept.

“He pointed out where the unlicensed firearm was kept and it was found with ammunition.
“The suspects have appeared before the Tsakani Magistrate’s Court and further investigations are underway,” she explained.
Mngomezulu added that the arrest came as the police were patrolling near the Far East Rand Hospital when the victim of the hijacking stopped them.
He told the police that he just spotted his hijacked vehicle.
