Duduza – Sixty-six people were arrested over the weekend in Ekurhuleni District Zone Three which includes Springs, Tsakani, Kwa-Thema, Duduza, Nigel, Devon and Dunnottar.
The offenders were arrested for various crimes including assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, common assault, house break-in and theft, possession of stolen property, possession of drugs, and fraud.

This was a result of various collaborative efforts between the SAPS and other law enforcement agencies.
Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka said they have intensified their efforts in addressing serious crimes.
“The suspects are expected to appear before various magistrates courts during the week,” he said.
