Man hijacked in Tsakani

A white Toyota Reunion was hijacked in Tsakani on Saturday evening.

Tsakani – A man was hijacked on Modjadji Street in Tsakani on the evening of August 11.

“He alleged that he was driving when he stopped his work motor vehicle to wait for his wife. He claimed that he was approached by three armed men.

“They threatened and forced him to drive his car towards the direction of Vosloorus,” said Captain Neldah Sekgobela, the Ekurhuleni district communications officer.

Sekgobela added that the victim said along the way he was strangled and passed out.

“He indicated that when he regained consciousness, he noticed that he was around Zonkizizwe area in Katlehong,” said Sekgobela.

He opened a case at the Tsakane SAPS. No arrests have been made yet.
