Man arrested for failing to adhere to court order

Seshego Magistrate’s Court issued a warrant of arrest for a 49-year-old.

Tsakani – EMPD Eastern Region Task Team officers arrested a man sought by the Seshego Magistrate’s Court, in Tsakani on July 24.

According to the EMPD spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa, it is alleged that the Seshego Magistrate’s Court in Polokwane issued a warrant of arrest for a 49-year-old male suspect for failing to appear in court.

“After he failed to adhere to a court order issued for child maintenance in Polokwane, the EMPD Eastern Region Task Team officers swiftly attended to it, and the suspect was arrested at his home in Nkowankowa Street in Tsakani.

“He was arrested and detained at the Tsakane Police Station and he will further be transferred to the Seshego Magistrate’s Court soon,” said Thepa.
