Duduza – Katleho Kaula (27) known on stage as Katz Wa 2Pa, is a DJ and producer in the amapiano genre.
Kaula has been a DJ for 14 years and his journey in the industry started when he developed an interest in learning more about computers, software and music, specifically Atomix, now known as Virtual DJ.
“I started to make music on software back in 2021 as an attempt to find my sound. Unsuccessfully, I was not able to either make or drop my music.
“The lesson was learnt and the approach has changed for the better. The way of life is inspirational because this gives you another chance to go at it again. This time, coming back bigger and stronger while overcoming minor obstacles,” he said.
Kaula said his music is a general blend of modern beats and melodies while sticking to the core of amapiano. He added that versatility adds to the type of music he offers.
Kaula also cited that he recently started learning how to produce music because he desires to make multiple songs that will uplift spirits in a musical sense.
“I started learning about song production in 2022 and I was taught by a well-known friend and artist. As a DJ, I dominantly play Amapiano, but I mix it up with old-school house, deep house and hip-hop.
“Growing up around music made me want to become a part of music in some aspect, hence the path of being a DJ and producer,” Kaula said.

He also cited that he draws inspiration from some of the well-known artists in the music industry such as Mdu aka TRP, Kabza De Small, MFR Souls and Josiah De Desciples. He said that he is working with Soulcafe96 on several productions to be released soon.
“I am also working in collaboration with DJs such as Kamzoro and Freshzinto on some mixes. There is a vocal hit dropping soon called Masngena. I worked with Soulcafe96 and featured GD Man on the song.
“I did Ub’zukuzuku with Soulcafe96, it is another classic that will be dropped soon. A lot of music to be expected in the next few months and next year. I am working on a few projects that are encouraging and beautiful to craft,” cited Kaula.
Kaula said he is dropping his latest mix called Thupafication Edition 15 on July 20 and it will be available for download on YouTube for streaming. He said he wants to provide joy and happiness through music to his fans.
