On Friday, Pholosong Hospital’s Men’s Forum started their day with a health dialogue and at the end they let their feet do the talking. The different departments played six-a-side soccer games to promote physical health.

The objective was to ensure that the men in the institution participated in sports activities and live a healthy lifestyle. The attendees were instructed to wear their favourite soccer team’s jersey.

“Some of the departments present were infrastructure development, administration, porters and clinical,” said the hospital’s data administrator and soccer co-ordinator, Teboho Molefe.

The men played friendly games.

The Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation provided the team with medals of participation.

“When you participate in sports, your mental, spiritual, and emotional well-being improves. Those are the components we should take care of,” said Tebogo Medingoane, the secretary general for Men’s Health Forum.

Six friendly games were played. According to Molefe, there was no winner or loser, it was a time to enjoy themselves.
