Tutor aims to refine learners’ growth

Kwa-Thema – Kwenza Mbhele aims to empower learners to reach their full potential with his tutoring lessons.

He began tutoring learners in March beginning with only nine learners ranging from grades four to seven.

He provides mathematics, natural sciences and technology, English (FAL), and Isizulu tutoring services.

His tutoring programme is held from Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 17:00 at Ntokozweni Primary School.

“I strive to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where learners feel confident, motivated and encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas and grow at their own pace,” he said.

Mbhele says he has always had a passion for teaching and to positively impact young minds.

“I also offer homework assistance. I want to help learners build a strong foundation with their subjects and to develop essential skills like critical thinking and problem-solving.

“Ultimately, my goal is to make a positive impact on the lives of my learners, inspire them to become curious and lifelong learners, and watch them thrive and succeed in all their endeavours,” he added.

Mbhele said he has seen the learners grow and progress since he began working with them

“They have shown significant improvement in their understanding and application of the subjects, and their grades have reflected that.

“But more importantly, I’ve seen a boost in their confidence, enthusiasm, and love for learning,” Mbhele said.

He expressed his joy upon realising that learners have started to enjoy subjects they previously struggled with or found boring.

“Parents and teachers have also shared feedback about the positive impact they’ve seen in their children’s attitudes and academic performance.

“It’s moments like these that make all the hard work worth it and remind me why I started tutoring in the first place,” he said.
