On May 4, Chilla No Jamza donated groceries to Maureen Simelane, an elderly woman raising nine grandchildren alone.
According to Chilla no Jamza’s COO, Nokulunga Nhlanhla, Simelane’s daughter died in November, leaving her to raise the grandchildren.
“Our CEO, Jamza Mabena, took the initiative to help the elderly lady. She was not expecting Jamza to come and bring the groceries, especially this soon, because people make promises and never come back,” she said.
Simelane thanked the NPO.
