Learners enjoy educational day in court

As part of a career day exhibition Grade R learners shared a memorable day inside the courtrooms.

Tsakani – On April 23, EMPD Social Crime Prevention Unit officers, in conjunction with other law enforcement agencies, participated in escorting Grade R learners from Phumlani Primary School on a tour inside the Tsakane Magistrate’s Court for a career exhibition.

As part of the exhibition, learners shared a memorable day inside the courtrooms. The EMPD officers conducted presentations on traffic and road safety.

Excited learners, dressed up in gowns that are normally worn by legal representatives (lawyers) when practicing in court, enjoyed this memorable experience with their heroes and fully participated during presentations.
Officers also went to Ekhaya Day Care.

Here a stern focus was placed on crossing the roadway safely, with officers implementing strategies of singing and dancing to capture the attention of the little ones.

The EMPD is delighted to be offered the opportunity to collaborate with other law enforcement agencies on joint ventures of this nature.
