School needs parents to attend meeting

All parents must bring some form of identification to participate in the meeting.

Kwa-Thema – The administrative principal of Kwa-Thema Skills School, Mzanywa Shongwe, invites parents to attend the SGB nominations and elections.

The meeting will be at 08:30 on March 17 in the school hall.

“We are looking for parents who are committed to the school, people who are committed to taking the school to the next level,” said Shongwe.

“The school needs a minimum of 15% of the parents to be in attendance for the elections to take place.
If we do not meet this requirement, we will be forced to postpone the meeting,” he added.

Both parents of each learner qualify to participate in the nominations and elections. All parents must bring some form of identification (ID card, green ID book, passport or driver’s licence).

“I urge all parents to attend this meeting. Everything we do is for the betterment of our children,” he explained.

Transport is available, and parents will be collected where their children catch the bus on weekdays.
