In loving memory of Maria Nomgcibelo Khumbuza Shabangu

Deceased: Maria Nomgcibelo Shabangu was born on October 29, 1962, and died on February 23, 2024. Shabangu was described as a dedicated teacher and compassionate businesswoman.
She devoted her life to serving her community with a beautiful heart that was always ready to help others. She embarked on her teaching career with passion and commitment, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of countless students.
She began her journey at Laban Motlhabi High School and subsequently shared her knowledge and wisdom at Kenneth Masikela, George Mbilase Primary in Daveyton, and Tholulwazi Secondary School in Tsakani.
Her final teaching chapter unfolded at Tlakula High School, where she dedicated herself until her well-deserved retirement.
Throughout her career, Shanbangu was not only an teacher but also a pillar of support for those around her.
Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving an enduring legacy in the hearts of those fortunate to know her.
Maria Nomgcibelo Shabangu’s memory will be honoured during a service at the Kwa-Thema Community Hall on 1 March from 08:00 to 10:00.
She will be laid to rest at eNokuthula Memorial Park.
