Novice players test their badminton skills

The club meets every weekday at 15:30.

Eyethu Badminton Club, in partnership with Badminton SA, held a Shuttle Time course at Duduza Multipurpose Centre on Saturday.

“We believe sports organisations and federations must work together. We must co-operate and multiply the support we already have,” explained Sam Mongola of Eyethu.

The growing sport is unavailable at some schools, and most of the beginners in attendance were primary school learners.

They received tips and best practices on handling their rackets and hitting the shuttlecock.

The club meets every weekday at 15:30.

Those wanting to join can call 084 446 6737 for more information.
