Boetmasweedy hopes to entertain crowds

Boetmasweedy started as a dancer.

Kwa-Thema – Theo ‘Boetmasweedy’ Maseko (29) is hoping to make it in the music industry.

Born in Mpumalanga and raised in Ext 2, Kwa-Thema, Boetmasweedy grew up as an entertainer who used to dance at school.

“I moved to Pretoria in 2016 and that’s when I lost the love for dancing and grew a love of singing,” he said.
He said in Pretoria he used to visit different music studios and fell in love with it.

“I used to sing Teargas songs, and that was when I realised I had the voice,” he continued.

He said he is doing something that has never been done before, an infusion of Kwaito and Amapiano.

On Saturday, he released his single Summertime on digital music platforms and hopes to get airplay soon.

“I’m hoping the people will love my song and will support me. I want to see my music blowing up and making it to the international stage,” he said.
