KTMF to pray for social ills faced by community members

The convention will take place at Back to God conventional church.

Kwa-Thema – With all the social ills faced by the community, the Kwa-Thema Ministers Fellowship (KTMF) will hold a week-long community convention to pray for such.

The convention will take place from November 27 to December 1 at Back to God Conventional Street at Baduza Street in Kwa-Thema, adjacent to Makaula’s Elegant Funerals.

The theme of the convention is ‘Raising hope in a hopeless generation’.

The president of KTMF, Apostle Mapule More said it would be an honour for the community to join them in prayer as they’ll be praying for GBV, crime, teenage pregnancy, suicide, service delivery and other ills.

“Our community needs prayers as many things are troubling us. Our children bunk schools, the elders get robbed, and people are murdered – it is all just too much. We need to invite God in to take control,” More said.

The services will take place at 18:00 to 20:00 every evening during the convention period and there will be a special service for leaders on November 30 from 10:00 to 13:00.

“The leadership seminar is for all leaders of society whether political, organisational or managerial,” she said.

More also said public transport will operate till late during the convention so that those who are far from the church may be able to get home after the services.

There will be guest speakers and the entrance is free.
