Kwatsaduza – From October 23 to 29, the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit officers were able to secure lengthy convictions for perpetrators.
In Tsakani, Moses Mandla Nkosi was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for rape and found unfit to possess a firearm. The crime was committed in August 2021.
Richard Sibusiso Morapedi (36) from Kwa –Thema was sentenced to two life imprisonment terms and found unfit to possess a firearm for the rape cases committed in August 2022.
The docket was investigated by Constable Thembile Gungxwana of the Spring FCS Unit who ensured that justice was served.
