Soccer tournament a fitting farewell for Moses

The farewell soccer tournament was hosted to give Moses a send-off after his 30-year service to the organisation.

Moses Mnisi (60), Mpact soccer team’s legendary striker, retires at the end of October.

A farewell soccer tournament was held in his honour on Friday to bring to a close his 30-year career at the organisation.

He joined the company in 1993 and served as the coach of the soccer team for several years.

The final game was held at Laerskool Werda’s grounds and was a thrilling match between Moses’ first and second teams.

Moses scored the first goal of the tournament and led his team to a 3-2 victory.

He expressed his gratitude to Mpact for giving him the opportunity to work as well as play soccer with them and thanked his teammates and fans for their support.

He said he was excited to have more time with his family and explore new interests.

“We congratulate Moses on his achievements and wish him well for the future,” said Onka Marumo, a representative of Mpact.
