Tsakani – Langaville Primary School’s Neo Mokoena was showered with gifts during a prize-giving ceremony held at Laerskool Haakdoorn in Tshwane on Saturday.

This is after obtaining 200 out of 200 in the first half and 198 out of 200 in the second half of the provincial leg of the competition for Grade Six learners.

He received gold medals, a gold trophy, a robotic kit and other gadgets.

School principal Khosi Mahlangu said she is proud of Neo for making the school and community proud.

“This is proof that though the school is surrounded by informal settlement and caters for learners from poor backgrounds they can still shine among the best,” she said.
