Tsakani – The Tsakane Mall ran an essay competition where learners were encouraged to write an essay nominating their favourite teacher and also stating “why my teacher is the best”.
Five winning learners’ essays were selected from five different schools.
Tsakane Mall visited the schools to hand over prizes to winning learners who each received vouchers valued at R1500 and a pizza party for the learner’s classroom. The nominated teachers received a voucher valued at R4 000.
Winning Schools:
• Sizwesethu Primary School, the handover of the vouchers was completed on August 25.
• Qedusizi Primary School, the handover of the vouchers was completed on August 28.
• Shadrack Mbambo Primary School, the handover of the vouchers was completed on August 29.
• Phumlani Primary School, the handover of the vouchers was completed on August 30.
• Geluksdal Premiere Primary School, the handover of the vouchers was completed on August 31.
