Langaville Primary School learner shines at regional Maths Olympiad

The next leg of the competition will be on September 6 at Laerskool Selection Park.

Tsakani – Langaville Primary School learner Neo Mokoena came second in the regional Maths Olympiad.

The Grade Six learner qualified to compete in the second leg of the competition on September 6 at Laerskool Selection Park.

Neo’s maths teacher, Landiwe Moswete, said she was proud of him for making it this far in the competition.

“This shows the hard work we put in in class and during preparation for the competition is paying off.

“I am pinning my hope on him achieving first position in the provincial competition so that he will move to the nationals,” she added.

The team is preparing and practising for the upcoming leg of the competition.
