Nonhlanhla Kumalo started Sunday games for tavern owners to work together

The games will continue on Sunday at Ext 6 at the Malandela Ground.

Tsakani – Tavern owners in Tsakani started their Sunday Masters Games, with their first game earlier this year at the Mammellong Soccer Ground.

Their games aim to unite tavern owners and raise funds weekly to donate and give back to charity.

Nonhlanhla Kumalo founded Old Crocks Sunday Soccer Games and said she came with the initiative so tavern owners could build relationships and get to know and work with each other.

On Sunday, their games continued at the Ext 6 Malandela Ground. They moved there from the Mammellong Soccer Ground.

These were the results:

• Kwagga’s Inn played to a one-all draw with Bheki FC

• Moses Tavern played to a four-all draw with Mhlanga’s Tavern

• Jacob’s Tavern and Letia’s Tavern also played to a draw, ending at one all.

• Madisenke’s Tavern played to a two-all draw against Mary’s Tavern

• Masgodi Sweepers vs Tshanini United ended in a 2-all draw.

The games will continue on Sunday at Ext 6 at the Malandela Ground.
