Home Sweepers players to participate in international games

The games will be held from July 24 to 30.

Kwa-Thema – Springs Home Sweepers defender, Michaela Swarts, will join 132 young athletes in representing South Africa at the TriColor Games in Italy.

They will hold the games from July 24 to 30. These games are held every four years in Fort Worth’s sister city, Reggio Emilia, Italy.

They began because of admiration for the World Olympic Games and their ability to create peace and unity among people.

Michaela will be joined by the Springs Home Sweepers manager, Nelly Matsoagae, who will be part of the technical team.

The team’s technical coach, Mkhonza Mkhonzana, said he is proud of the two for qualifying to take part in the international games.
