After his tribute concert, the Jobe Foundation renovated the home of the late Vuyo Mokoena

The building was dilapidated and not fit to be the home known to have housed a musical legend.

Duduza – After the Vuyo Mokoena All White tribute concert on April 8, The Jobe Foundation renovated his home with the proceeds.

The COO of the foundation, Aubrey Sibaya, said, “We visited the house while preparing for the concert, and we were unhappy with what we saw.”

He said the building was dilapidated and not fit to be the home known to have housed a legend.

“We promised to take the proceeds and refurbish the house. I’m happy we kept our word,” he concluded.

The renovations included refurbishing the kitchen, roof, and bathroom, among other things.

The late musician’s brother, Prince Mokoena, said they were grateful to the foundation for what it had done because no one in the family had a job.

“Gogo (his mother) is now old, and some things are difficult for her to use in the house. The renovations will help a lot.

“We are truly grateful because it shows that my brother was, indeed, a legend,” he concluded.
