The road to the cup draws nearer for the teams
Four teams are ready for the semi-finals.
Kwatsaduza – The Chicken and Meat Co Cup quarter-finals were played on Sunday at Ground One in Bluegumview, Duduza.
Eight teams battled each other, leaving four that won and qualified for the semis as the competition nears the finals.
The scores were:
– All Nation eliminated 17 Masters from the competition, beating them 3–2.
– Yebo Yes lost 1-0 to Duduza XI.
– Zethembe and Bazingeli played to a 2-all draw that then led to penalties. Bazingeli won 5–4.
– Wizard and Brothers Masters also played to a 1-all draw. Wizard won the penalty shootout 4–3.
The MOTM voucher winners:
– Thato ‘Dada’ Sekele of All Nation;
– Sifiso ‘Zulu’ Khumalo of Bazingeli;
– Kgomo ‘KG’ Moloko of Duduza XI;
– Collen Mtetwa of Zethembe.
The four teams will play the semis on Sunday at the Ext One Ground, Langaville.
These are the fixtures:
– 11:00 – All Nation vs Duduza XI;
– 12:30 – Wizard vs Bazingeli.
