Kwa-Thema Customer Care Centre temporarily closed

The CCC was vandalised on Tuesday.

KwaThema – The Kwa-Thema Customer Care Centre is temporarily closed following an incident of vandalism on Tuesday.

Two vehicles were set on fire while the customer walk-in centre and the fire station were vandalised.

“The city is currently providing psycho-social support to officials who were affected by the violent nature of the incident, and the facility will remain closed until the safety of the workers can be guaranteed,” said the metro’s spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.

In the meantime, residents are requested to use the other nearby customer care centres such as those in Springs, Tsakani or Brakpan for municipal services.

Other municipal services, like the payment of municipal accounts, remain available on the metro’s online platforms such as Siyakhokha, My CoE App and other retailers.

The metro’s call centre can also be used to report service delivery interruptions. The call centre number is 0860 543 000.
