Water still not restored in parts of Kwatsaduza
Rand Water recently implemented maintenance on the water network.
Kwatsaduza – The City of Ekurhuleni is encouraging residents who are still experiencing water cuts to be patient as the metro is still working to restore water supply to affected areas.
This is after Rand Water implemented 59-hour maintenance on the water network from Friday to Monday.
“Although the work was successfully completed, the system has not yet built enough pressure to supply water to some areas, while other areas are experiencing low water pressure,” said CoE spokesperson Zweli Dlamini.
“Areas still badly affected include Langaville Ext 10, Tsakane Ext 19 20 21, Masechaba View and Bluegum View.
“The city will update the affected communities on the developments through its digital platforms until the situation has normalised.”
