WATCH: Kwa-Thema residents have been without electricity for 12 days

Kwa-Thema – Kwa-Thema residents have taken to the streets to protest the lack of electricity despite the mayor’s visit to check on the progress at the Kwa-Thema main substation on Friday.

The residents are currently protesting and demanding to have power back. This comes after the substation caught fire on May 11.

Executive Mayor Sivuyile Ngodwana visited the substation to assess the damage and bring solutions.
