Hijacker arrested in possession of a stolen car
The victim was assaulted and sustained facial injuries.
Tsakani – A man was arrested in possession of a hijacked BMW 320i, along Nyenyenkulu Street in Ext 8 on Friday.
This follows an incident where a 33-year-old victim was hijacked along the R550, near a BP Garage. He was also assaulted and sustained facial injuries.
Duduza police spokesperson Sergeant Harry Manaka said the victim was assisted by a good Samaritan who took him to Tsakani SAPS to report the incident.

“The Emergency Medical Services Team was called to attend to the injured motorist and took him to the Pholosong Hospital for medical attention.”
The police investigation, community information given, and the Tracker company teamwork led to the discovery of the motor vehicle along Nyenyenkulu Street, Ext 8, Tsakani.
“One suspect was arrested whilst the other managed to flee. The suspect will appear in Tsakani Magistrate Court soon,” he added.
