Duduza – Zion gospel groups feel excluded from gospel events, and this led to Indumiso kaThixo seeing a need for their own festival.
One of the organisers, Portia Mazibuko, said only a few Zion gospel groups are included in large gospel events.
“We saw a need for a music festival for this genre so that we can have fun while praising the Lord in the best way we know how.
“We feel excluded by other genres,” said Mazibuko.
Indumiso kaThixo will host a Gospel Music Festival on March 25 at the Duduza Holy Ethiopian Church on Mandela Road, Bluegum View Ext One, opposite the new taxi rank.
The festival will start at 10:00 and end at 18:00.
