Taxi association goes into business

Nigel Taxi Association looks to create employment in their area.

Duduza – The Nigel Taxi Association is ready to turn the association into a solid business with different ventures.

The chairperson of the association, Sello Mabe said with over decades of operating and focusing on the minibus business, they decided to start new business ventures that will absorb some of their unemployed children.

“We cannot always depend on the government to employ or create employment for our children.

“Through this venture with a black-owned oil manufacturing company, we will be able to employ distributors and mechanics stationed at the taxi rank.

“We will also create wealth for the association,” he added.

The PR of the association, Moses Mokoe, added they are inviting other organisations interested to join them in reaching out.

“This is our chance to uplift our community. We can only achieve this through working together,” he added.
